Soulcraft Journals is one of my side projects that turned into a business. As the owner and builder of a 40-year old motorcycle, I need to keep track of a lot of numbers, dates, and ideas. I found that I had notes strewn across multiple locations, i.e., my smart phone, shop manual, and random pieces of paper. I wanted one location to keep track of all of these things, so I created the Moto Memo. It’s a Moleskin style journal with additional “cheat sheet” pages of information to help a person keep track of all the things associate with owning an older motorcycle.
After the launching the Moto Memo I created the “DOER” notebook for designers… again, like myself. It’s a daily goal planner + sketchbook combo. This solved my issue of carrying multiple notebooks (a goal planner as well as a sketchbook) around. I was only using fifty percent of the goal planner anyhow.
The latest edition to the Soulcraft lineup is the “Photo Memo.” When I was an amateur photographer I would often search camera settings on my phone while trying shoot. To solve this I created a pocket-sized book for keeping track of photo projects and again included FUK (Frequently Used Knowledge) pages to answer those questions while on the go.
All of these books can be purchased at Soulcraft Journals.
