Congratulations on your custom pen.

Your new pen came from one of my favorite stores, Muji. It’s clean aluminum body holds a replaceable ink cartridge, which means you can cherish your pen forever. This particular cartridge is a .5mm fine tip ballpoint with black gel ink. Feel free to replace it with a different size or color as you like.

Your pen was then permanently defaced with a Dremel and the etching filled in with black ink.

Finally, I sewed your pen and a note into its packaging with a 1926 Singer sewing machine. The sewing machine made its way to us from Germany via Belgium and who knows where else.
