“Pew Pew”

Where 1960s Western kitsch meets contemporary pop art, this piece reimagines the classic cowboy narrative with a playful twist. The hero of our story – rendered in a nostalgic mid-century commercial art style – stands with his faithful steed. But this isn't your grandfather's Western. Instead of bullets, his trusty six-shooter launches spiraling rings of pink across the azure sky, as the iconic revolver breaks down into its component parts, revealing the beautiful complexity beneath the familiar yet dangerous tool.

It's a marriage of retro commercial illustration and contemporary street art tones, as streams of pink loops dance across the canvas like rodeo lassos made of cotton candy. The dripping blue backdrop melts onto a subtle plaid field, while the detailed mechanical illustration grounds the whimsy in craftsmanship of the past.

Perfect for collectors who appreciate a knowing wink at pop culture history, this print adds a shot of humor and heart to any room that needs a conversation starter. It's where mid-century commercial art meets contemporary style, creating something entirely new from cherished vintage Americana.

High Quality Canvas
My Giclée canvas prints are crafted with high-quality, archival materials to ensure lasting durability and vibrant colors. Experience gallery-quality results on a semi-matte cotton canvas. The UV print technique ensures water and fade resistance, while the lightly textured surface adds depth and the look of the original canvas to the print.

The canvas is 344 gsm in weight and stretched onto wooden stretcher bars like the original. Once stretched, the final print will be around 20mm deep/thick on the side.

Framing
The floater frames are crafted from poplar hardwood, giving your canvas the appearance of floating within the frame. The frame is 1 cm (0.4”) wide from the front and 4 cm (1.6”) deep from the side. The frames come in black, white, and oak to suit any artwork. Optionally, you can receive your artwork without a frame if you would like to have it framed yourself. Note: Frames may vary slightly in color, finish, and spacing from example images.

Ready to hang
Each print comes ready to hang with pre-installed sawtooth hardware and rubber bumpers to protect your wall and keep your artwork perfectly aligned.
