Fractions Sticker
Back in the day, machine shops would have metal plaques with fraction to decimal breakdowns affixed to machines or work benches. These little guides were handy for quickly cross referencing specs while working with tooling, building motors, or pretty much anything that needed converting from fractions to decimals or vice versa.
Nowadays you can pull out your phone and have access to pretty much any kind of measurement chart imaginable. But sometimes you just aren’t in a position to pull out your phone, or you don’t want to reach in your pocket with a greasy hand.
This sticker is a nod to those quick reference guides of yore.
Stick one by your work bench or on your tool box, and you’ll be able to keep on doing, even with your hands full. I also keep one in a notebook for when I’m away from my workshop.
